The Pebblebrooke and Quail Creek easements are staked, all we need now are some tasty waves and some cool…drainage swells.
Frist and foremost the main purpose of a legal drain is to establish restrictions to a specific waterway. This allows for proper, effective maintenance, reducing costs and the impact of erosion. ONLY in an agreement, with the land owners in a watershed, will a drainage unit be established to collect a special tax to maintain a set of legal drains.
This week was full of contractions, meetings, and travel plans…
My poor wife has had her fill of contractions this week, probably for the rest of her life. I’m thinking we have visited the hospital at least three times this week. As I am sitting here right now, it is 10:30 at night, and it is the first time today I can sit in my own chair, in our home. Thirty-six weeks down, four or less weeks to go, stay strong sweetheart.
My esteemed colleague Conner Barnette has spent the week in Indianapolis for a FEMA Floodplain management conference. By attending the conference Mr. Barnette will qualify the residents of unincorporated Jackson County to a discount of up to 20% on specific FEMA coverage plans. Mr. Barnette has enrolled help from the Emergency Management and Surveyor’s Offices to publish supplemental documents for the community effort.
